Acting US Consul General Calls On Punjab Governor

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th August, 2016) : Acting US Consul General Ms.Deborah Robinson called on Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana at Governor's House here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Malik Rafique Rajwana said that Pakistan had to offer so many sacrifices to ensure peace in the world including Pakistan. He said that mutual relations between Pakistan and America for the elimination of terrorism was laudable.

He said that Pakistani people were peace loving nation and now the world had acknowledged the commitment of Pakistan for peace.

The Governor said that international community was also appraising the steps taken by the government in the field of education, health and provision of justice. Acting US Consul General Ms. Deborah Robinson said, "I feel proud to pay services in the historical and cultural city Lahore and development in social sector of Pakistan is enviable."
