NA Speaker For Steps To Resolve Media Persons Problems

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) : Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee on Information,Broadcasting and National Heritage Pir Aslam Bodla Wednesday called on Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. The Speaker during the meeting issued directives for discussion of journalists issues in the committee.

He also said that journalists accidental deaths and their security issued should be discussed in the committee so that steps could be taken for their protection.He said that the committee should also get input from journalists organization like Parliamentary Reporters Association and National Press Club.The committee should also listen to the viewpoint of representatives of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) and Council of Newspapers Editors (CPNE). The Speaker also said that Secretary IB&NH should also be invited in the meeting to find out solution to media persons problems.
