Pakistani Community Arranges Independence Day Cricket Tournament

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) :- The Pakistani Community in Japan, in collaboration with Chaudhry Asif of Pak-Japan Trading Co. organized the Independence Day cricket Tournament at Koshigaya ground, Saitama.
Ambassador Farukh Amil witnessed the Semi-final and Final matches as chief guest said a press release received here on Wednesday from Tokyo. The Ambassador appreciated the community-based sport event in which eight teams participated from Nagoya and Niigata.
He congratulated the Pakistan Eleven team captain Javed Niazi for its best performance and victory in the final. He highlighted the importance of sports and such events in fostering closer relationship among the Communities and introducing Pakistani sport in Japan.
Addressing the Pakistani community, the ambassador reiterated Pakistan's continuous moral and diplomatic support for the just cause of Kashmir in accordance with UN resolutions and people of Indian Held Kashmir who were suffering immense cruelty.
The Ambassador underscored that Pakistan is facing numerous challenges and vibrant expatriate Community can play an important role. He also emphasized that on the eve of Independence Day communities abroad must not forget the martyrs of Quetta, APS, Bacha Khan University and Lahore.
He reiterated the Independence Day's invitation to the community and stressed to attend the ceremony at the Embassy Complex. Consular and Community Affairs Officer, Third Secretary Adnan Javaid also accompanied the Ambassador.
