DUBLIN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th August, 2016) - Former All Blacks centre Francis Saili's wretched run of injury woe continues with the news Tuesday he will be out for four months following a second bout of shoulder surgery dealing a huge blow to his Irish province Munster. The 25-year-old -- capped twice by New Zealand -- will not only miss Munster's early domestic matches but also perhaps as many as four of their European Champions Cup pool games. Saili -- who has been with the two-time European champions since last year -- underwent a first shoulder operation at the end of last season but it has failed to resolve the problem completely.
"We got a setback with his shoulder," Munster's rugby director Rassie Erasmus told the Irish Examiner. "He went in for a scope yesterday (Monday).
There was some more repair work (needed). "It's going to be an extended lay-off. It wasn't great news but it is what it is." A four month absence would mean Saili -- a member of the New Zealand Under-20 side that won the Junior world championship in 2011 -- missing a large part of the final season of his two year contract
