The boys' singles semifinals of the ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championships leg-1 would be played here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Thursday
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Feb, 2023 ):The boys' singles semifinals of the ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championships leg-1 would be played here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Thursday.
A large number of foreign players (boys/girls) from Turkey, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, UK, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, China, Poland, South Korea, Canada and Pakistan were participating in the leg-1 event.
Uzair Aslam Chaudhary CEO of General Investment Securities and Saeed Ahmad Khan SVP-PTF visited PTF Complex to witness the quarterfinals. They interacted with the players, coaches and parents. Both praised the efforts of PTF management for the excellent arrangements for the event.
Meanwhile in Boys Singles quarterfinals, Cem Atlamis (TUR) beat Kamonpanyakorn Thadpong (THA) 6-4,6-0; Yuan Lu (CHN) beat Krittamaet Thammakun(THA) 6-3,6-2; Burga Ozkoc (TUR) beat Bilal Asim (PAK) 6-1,6-3;Mikail Khodorchenko (RUS) beat Edward Kruppe(CAN) 6-4,6-3.
In Girls Singles quarterfinals, Zeynep Erbakan (TUR) beat Polina Zaytseva(RUS) 6-1,6-1; Vlada Guryleva (RUS) beat Maia Visan (ROU) 6-0,6-1;Jinshu Xia (CHN) beat Taira Abildayeva (KAZ) 6-2,6-2; Defne Erbakan (TUR) beat Liliya Piskun (RUS) 6-3,7-5.
In Boys Doubles Pre- quarterfinals, Daniil Chizhuk (RUS), Sevastian Tasenkov (RUS) beat Kamonpanyakorn Thadpong (THA), Teetawat Tavachphongsri (THA) 3-6,6-3(10-7); Yuan Lu (CHN), Boda Zheng (CHN) beat M. Hamza Asim (PAK), Asad Zaman(PAK) 3-6,6-3(11-9); Nadir Mirza (PAK), Hamza Roman(PAK) beat Mohammad Ali (CAN), Ilya Mosolkin (RUS) 6-1,6-2; Kivanc Bedir (TUR), Mikhail Khodorchenko (RUS) beat Shehryar Anees (PAK) Jihwan Kim (KOR) 6-3,7-6(2);Cem Atlamis (TUR), Maciej Zarebski (POL) beat M.
