Pak Ju-jitsu Team To Take Part In World Games

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2017 ) : Pakistan's top Ju-Jitsu pair of Muhammad Ammar and Abu Hurraira will represent the country in the mens duo event of Ju-Jitsu competitions of The World Games being held from July 20-30 in Wroclaw, Poland.
This is the first time that Pakistan has qualified for the major global event after they grabbed silver medal in the last Asian Championship in Turkmenistan held in October 2016, which also served as qualifiers for The World Games.
"It is our hope that these young players will bring the laurels for our mother land as they did in the past", said a spokesman of the Pakistan Ju-jistu federation while talking to App here on Monday. APP/msa/yrb/sho
