Health Department To Observe Global Breast Feeding Week

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th August, 2016) : The Punjab Health Department is observing the global breast feeding week till August 20 to create awareness about importance of breast-feeding by mothers. Executive District Officer (EDO) Health Dr Nusrat Riaz said that a seminar would be held on August 17 at Jinnah Hall in this regard.
During the week, Lady health Workers, Lady Health Supervisor along with lady health visitors would create awareness in schools regarding mother feeding their kids. The pregnant women and women breast-feeding their children will participate in the meetings.
