Govt Focusing To Improve Working Of Livestock Department: Malkani

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th August, 2016) : Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries, Muhammad Ali Malkani, has said that privatization of livestock department or its any component was not under consideration and government was focusing on improving its performance. Talking to officials and later with media persons during visit to office of Director Animal Husbandry breading at Hussainabad on Tuesday, he urged all officials to dispose of their officials responsibilities with dedication and honesty or get ready to face strict actions. Issue of promotion of officers was also reviewed and the Minister assured that soon a meeting of department promotion committee would be called so that officers waiting for promotion may get their due right.
The minister said that some illegal occupants encroached the land of animal husbandry and warned that action would be taken for removal of these encroachment.
The Director General Animal Husbandry Aslam Pervaiz Umrani, Director General Fisheries Ghulam Muhammad Mahar, Director Animal Husbandry Hyderabad Mushtaque Hussain Jokhio, Director Animal Planning Abdul Qadir Junejo, Director Jamil Ahmed Shaikh and other officials were also present.
