PTI Files Baseless Reference Against: Riaz

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Augst,2016) : Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Riaz Hussain Pirzada on Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)'s disqualification reference against Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif over Panama leaks is baseless, unfounded and illogical. While talking to APP outside the Parliament House, he said Speaker National Assembly has the authority to reject the reference or disqualify any member of the National Assembly. The minister said people of the country are satisfied with the policies of PM and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
He stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is a trustworthy and patriot politician and eligible for premiership as people of the country mandated him to serve the country. Riaz also said that it is a positive sign that people have developed trust on all national institutions. He said every party has the right to file reference against any political party as in past opposition always filed references against the government, the minister added. He said that the government was delivering and masses were satisfied with the performance of the government.
