Local Bodies Reps To Be Empowered Soon

SARGODHA,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Augst,2016) : District President PML-N,Shahnawaz Ranjha said Tuesday that local bodies representatives will be empowered soon at the grassroots level. Talking to journalists on Tuesday,Ranjha said that for empowering local bodies institutions the government was adopting solid measures as this was in the benefit of common man. Shahnawaz Ranjha said that sincere and ideological party people will be accommodated on special seats in union councils, municipal committees, Municipal Corporation and the district councils.
He said that because of unshaken trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif the candidates of PML-N succeeded throughout the province. He further said that Party leadership will decide the Names of the heads of district council,Municipal Corporation and Municipal Committees,adding that PML-N enjoyed support of 120 chairmen out of the total 166 seats in district councils. However,he said that nominations for special seats had not yet been decided,adding that all rumors in this regard were baseless.
