Sale Of Solar Energy Equipment Increasing

LAHORE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Augst,2016) :The sale of solar energy systems has registered an increase in the electronic markets due to power crunch in the country. All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran general secretary Nadeem Mir told APP that if local manufacturers of solar devices strive to meet international standards then the government should give them incentives to help boost the production.
He said that this step would help generate employment opportunities and promote local alternative energy solutions. Muhammad Rizwan, a shopkeeper at Hall Road Market said the use of solar system was getting more and more popular as it alternatively charged the power-batteries during the daytime and the charge was used for dark hours of night."The sale of solar energy home systems,which provide relief in monthly bills,have almost doubled in Pakistan during 2015-16.
He urged the government to shape out a comprehensive policy to promote use of solar energy panels for domestic purposes. "This would help cope with energy shortage in the country",he added. Mohsin Gill,who deals in solar energy equipment told APP on Tuesday that the power shortage and reduction in prices of Chinese Solar Energy Equipment were the Primary reasons behind the increase in sale of Chinese solar systems.
To a question,he said that China entered the solar system market as a competitor and prices of these items started dipping. He said that Pakistani manufacturers have also started making some electrical equipment used for the systems which has also played a role in reducing overall prices of the energy systems.
