114 Arrested In Crackdown Against Profiteers

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th August, 2016) : District administration arrested 114 persons in a crackdown against profiteers in different parts of the city and suburb areas. On the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Riaz Khan Mehsud, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Sohail Aziz conducted raids against profiteers at Hashtnagri and G.
T Road and arrested 28 persons while AAC Mahmood Ahmad arrested 17 profiteers from Gulbahar. Similarly, AACs, Abdul Nabi and Syed Shah Zeb conducted raids at Faqirabad and Paharipura areas and nabbed 32 profiteers while AAC Mir Khawas Khan Wazir arrested 12 from Bana Mari area.
Meanwhile, AAC Imran Khan conducted raids against profiteers in Tehkal area and arrested 25 persons. A spokesman of the district administration said the all arrested profiteers would be dealt as per law.
