Unprecedented Enthusiasm Show Significant Improvement In Law & Order Situation: MPA

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Augst,2016) : Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), Rushad Khan said Monday that the unprecedented enthusiasm on Pakistan's independence day celebrations have shown their overwhelming confidence in the policies of Federal Government besides significant improvement in law and order situation in the country. In exclusive chat with APP, Rushad Khan said the active participation of a large number of people from Khyber to Karachi in the independence day's celebrations have clearly demonstrated their overwhelming confidence and trust in the policies of Federal Government, adding people of all ages including children, women, female, senior citizens and youth from Chitral to Gawadar have participated in the celebrations. Before 2013, he said, four to six bomb blasts and suicide explosions were almost a routine matter and resultantly people were confined to homes. He said PML-N Government when took over after sweeping 2013 general polls, had adopted bold policies by evolving a broad-based political consensus for National Action Plan (NAP) besides establishment of special speedy courts to curb the menace of militancy and terrorism. On a side, the government through successful and forceful actions under NAP had foiled the propaganda of terrorists and their supporters by launching Operation Zarb e Azb in North Waziristan Agency by exposing their actual faces before masses and on the other hand improved the soft image of the country.

"The bold and timely decisions of Federal Government and law enforcement agencies under NAP have isolated terrorists by reducing space for them to reorganize and operate freely," he explained. Referring to the recent decisions taken during a high level meeting chaired by Prime Minister about security following Quetta bombing the other day, the MPA welcomed the formation of high level task force to monitor progress on the NAP, saying it has clearly reflected the sincerity and strong determination of PMLN Government to wipe out terrorism and bring durable peace in the country. He said improvement in level of communication and consultations among intelligence and security agencies would make very positive results and level of security would be further improved. Rushad Khan said the positive outcome of these government's measures have now started visible and participation of hundreds of thousands of people in independence day celebrations from Chitral to Gawadar and Peshwar to Karachi was a testimony of it. He congratulated the Police and law enforcement agencies for foolproof security measures on Independence Day, saying it was due to their tight security measures that no untoward incident has been reported from any part of the country during the independence day.
