NAVTTC Provides Vocational Training To FATA Youth

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Augst,2016) :National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has started vocational training of the youth of Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) under Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Programme. Talking to APP here on Monday, Executive Director NAVTTC Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema said that under this programme training is being imparted to the youth of Balochistan, FATA and far flung areas on priority basis.
Over 2,000 students had been trained in various skills in which 1195 male trainees and 805 female trainees are included.
Zulfiqar Cheema said that instructions have already been given the heads of institutes to upgrade their labs and workshops and increase the quality and standard of training to ensure better chances for students to secure jobs.
He said that healthy skill competitions among the trainees will increase their interest in the courses. He further said that sports and other healthy activities may be arranged for the trainees to boost their morale.
