Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News – 15th August, 2016) : High Security Zone area of Islamabad shook with gunfire. 2 armed groups opened fire in Sector F10-3 in Shalimar area, Islamabad. Confrontation between the 2 groups resulted into gunfire. Barrister Fahad Malik, nephew of Former Chairman Senate Mian Muhammad Sumroo, was killed in the firing incident. Tariq Malik, a friend of dead, was also injured in the incident and transferred to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in a serious condition.
2 other people Raja Arshad and Husnain Malik were also injured in firing. Injured has been taken to the hospital for treatment. SHO Shahlimar area has been suspended from his job after the episode occurred in the area. According to the police, a girl caused this confrontation. According to the police sources, the reason of the firing is yet to be determined. Police investigation is underway. The FIR of the incident not yet registered.
