2648 Police Officials To Be Deployed On Independence Day

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th August, 2016) : As many as 2648 police officials will be deployed in the city to avert any untoward incident on the Independence Day. According to police, a total of 12 rallies will be taken out and 34 flag hoisting ceremonies would be organized to celebrate the independence day in the city.
Four SPs, 9 DSPs, 20 inspectors, 141 officers, 902 constables, 56 lady constables and 1516 PQRs will perform duty on the day. Beside this, six reserves would remain alert at police lines to deal with any emergency.
All big ceremonies will be organized at commissioner office, Qasim Hall, High court, regional and city police office. Sources added that police patrolling will be ensured to take strict action against motorcyclists involved in doing wheelie and special force would be deployed at public places.
