Olympics: Britain, USA Claim Eight Golds, Drysdale, Brennan Win Sculls

RIO DE JANEIRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th August, 2016) - Britain's rowers won the men's eight gold at the Rio Olympics on Saturday with the United States defending their 2012 Games women's eight crown. New Zealand's Mahe Drysdale retained his men's single sculls' title and Australian Kimberley Brennan took gold in the women's single sculls.
The British eight team led from start to finish to beat London 2012 champions Germany with the Netherlands in bronze. The USA women's eight beat the British women's boat with Romania filling third.
