NAP Being Implemented In Proper Spirit: Rana Afzal

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th August, 2016) : Parliamentary Secretary for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal has said war against terrorism was in final phase, adding terrorists who are on run are now targeting soft targets. Talking to a private news channel, he said National Action Plan (NAP) was being implemented in proper spirit that is manifested by declining number of terrorist attacks in the country.
He said security institutions were executing NAP with the aim to root out anti-state elements from the soil and would continue efforts till achievement of the objectives. Rana Afzal said seminaries reforms were being made as part of NAP while verification of National Identity Cards was underway. To a question on Afghan refugees, he said the government had extended their stay in the country on request of United Nations and their repatriation is under discussion.
