Olympics: USA's Dirado wins women's 200m backstroke gold

RIO DE JANEIRO,(APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Augst,2016) - American swimmer Maya Dirado denied Hungary's Katinka Hosszu a fourth Rio Olympics gold medal when she pipped her in the women's 200m backstroke on Friday. Dirado finally overhauled "Iron Lady" Hosszu after finishing second behind her in the 400m individual medley and third in the 200m individual medley.

Canada's Hilary Caldwell took the bronze.
