AARI Advise Safety Measures For Cotton Crops

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) : The Director Cotton, Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI) Dr Sagheer Ahmad has advised the farmers to adopt safety measures against attack of Cotton Leave Curl Virus (CLCV).
In a statement issued here on Friday, Dr Sagheer said that CLCV attack has been observed at cotton crops in some parts of cotton cultivation area. He said, this virus was not at dangerous level but the farmers should make appropriate arrangements at the earliest to save their cotton crops from CLCV attack.
He advised the growers to conduct pest scouting in their crops and consult the agriculture experts before using pesticides.
