NH&MP Makes Special Arrangements For Ensuring Free Flow Of Traffic On Independence Day

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) : National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) have made special arrangements for ensuring free flow of traffic to commuters on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day.
DIG N-5 North Zone, Ahmed Mukhtar Khan informed that a detailed traffic plan had been devised for North Zone to promptly help the distressed road users and maintain free flow of traffic in their respective areas of responsibility.
He said that sector commanders SSP Farukh Rasheed, SP Naeem Hayat Tiwana and SP Inam Ilahi would remain present in their sectors as well as DSPs in their Beat areas to implement the traffic plan in true letter and spirit to avoid untoward situation.
DIG said that special briefing points would be established at all the toll plazas of N-5 North Zone and special briefing officers would be deputed to impart road safety education to the road users.
DIG said that one-wheeling of the motor cyclists would be discouraged and stern legal action would be taken against one-wheelers. Special squads would be deployed. DIG said that special gift hampers would be distributed amongst road user at different toll plazas of N-5 North Zone to establish a close police public relationship.
