Speaker NA Lauds Sacrifices Of KP Business Community In War Against Terror

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) : Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid rich tributes to the sacrifices and courage of business community and people of Khyber Pakthunkhwa in war against terror, saying he would personally raise their issues at every available forum for concrete and earliest solution. The Speaker said Operation Zarb-e-Azab in North Waziristan Agency launched by security forces to wipe out militancy and terrorism has achieved significant successes and time was not for away when lasting peace would be restored in the country. He expressed these views in a Business Excellence Award ceremony of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry held on late Thursday night.
Governor KP Engr Iqbal Zafar Jhagra was also present. Eulogizing the sacrifices of people and business community of KP and Balochistan in war against militancy and terrorism, he paid rich tributes to them for their steadfastness and exemplary courage.
The Speaker said the continuation of trade and business activities in challenging circumstances has completely changed the perception regarding unfavourable conditions for business in this province. The Speaker said the business community of KP has also conveyed a strong message to the anti-state elements that we would not abandon our lands whatever the conditions may be and continued business activities here. Assuring full support to business community for resolution of their problems, the Speaker said he would personally represent and raise their problems and issues at all the available forums including standing committees.
He said business community was the main source of revenue that contributes to national exchequer and their problems should be addressed on priority basis. Ayaz Sadiq said he would approach Federal Ministers, State Ministers and other important officials to meet the visiting delegations of the KP businessmen and solved their problems.
