Olympics: China's Ma Wins Men's Table Tennis Gold

RIO DE JANEIRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) - China's top seed Ma Long swept aside defending champion Zhang Jike in straight sets to be crowned men's Olympic table tennis champion in Rio on Thursday. The 14-12, 11-5, 11-4, 11-4 success gave Ma the grand slam of Olympic, world championship, world cup and world tour titles.
And it left China's table tennis team on course for a third consecutive clean-sweep of gold medals at the Olympics after scooping up every title at Beijing and London.
