RIO DE JANEIRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) - Rafael Nadal gave up on his dream of an Olympic Games gold medal treble on Thursday when he withdrew from the mixed doubles. The 30-year-old, who is returning from a wrist injury, had been due to partner Garbine Muguruza but they pulled out just before their first round match.
Nadal had already played twice on Thursday, winning a place in the singles quarter-finals and a spot in Friday's men's doubles gold medal match with lifelong friend Marc Lopez.
