DC Directs Immediate Repair Of Damaged Road

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th August, 2016) : Deputy Commissioner Moatasim Abbasi has directed the officials concerned to carry out survey of roads damaged due to recent heavy rains in the city, Latifabad and Qasimabad talukas so that those could be immediately repaired to save public from traffic jams. During his visit to different areas of the city on Thursday, the DC said Hyderabad was a historical city of Sindh and district administration was working on development of different sectors so that residents of the second largest city of the province could be provided with basic facilities.
Taking notice of a news regarding accumulation of rain water in some government run schools in the city, the DC directed the officials to visit these schools and take immediate measures for draining out rain water from them.
Fumigation spray should also be carried out at schools to check the spread of epidemics so that students could be prevented from disease, he added.
