Air Chief Visits The Wounded Of Quetta Terror Attacks

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th August, 2016) : Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) here Thursday. He inquired about the health and well being of the injured who got wounded in the dastardly carried out bombings in Civil Hospital Quetta on 8th August and today's roadside blast at Zarghon road.
He lauded their courage and resolve in fighting against terrorists and prayed for their health and speedy recovery. The air chief offered prayers for the departed souls and showed solidarity with the bereaved families.
He vehemently condemned the perpetrators of these barbaric acts and reiterated his resolve to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
Later on the Air Chief also called on Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.
He expressed his sorrow and grief on the loss of lives in the gruesome attacks and offered to provide the services of PAF transport fleet to airlift the seriously wounded people from Quetta to various parts of the country. On the special instruction of the Air Chief, PAF transport aircraft has already been assigned the role of an Air Ambulance to transfer injured persons from Quetta to Karachi.
The C-130 aircraft have flown number of sorties so far and have shifted 73 seriously injured from Quetta to various hospitals of Karachi.
