Halal Food Authority In KP Soon: Minister

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th August, 2016) : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Inayat Ullah has said that Halal Food Authority would soon be established to ensure availability of halal food in the province. He said this in a meeting with staff of Halal Awareness and Research Council.
He said that Health, Livestock, Food and other departments are endeavouring to ensure availability of halal food for the people of KP. Minister said, we deem it our responsibility to provide halal food items to people for consumption. Meeting among others was attended by Secretary Local Government, Sayyed Jamal Uddin, Deputy Director Food, Asmatullah Marwat, Director General Halal Awareness and Research Council, Asmat Gul Khattak Director, Iqbal Khalil and officials food department.
