PSX Continues To Witness Bullish Trend

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th August, 2016) : Bullish trend continued at pakistan stock exchange (psx) on Thursday, as KSE-100 Index after adding 55.72 points closed at the record level of 39861.60 points. The KSE-100 Index has accumulated overall 471.39 points from Monday to Thursday. On Thursday, KSE-30 Index added 38.85 points to close at 22888.40 points, KSE-All Shares Index surged by 25.80 points and All Share Islamic Index increased by 20.
03 points and closed at 18502.85 points. The shares of total 397 companies were traded.
The share value of 190 companies went up and that of 186 went down while the share value of 21 companies remained unchanged. The highest increase was recorded in the shares of Rafhan Maize Products, as their share value increased by Rs. 166.43 and closed at Rs. 7477.43 points. Market capitalization recorded increase of Rs. 7.68 billion and turnover by over Rs. 940 million.
