Baghdad, (Pakistan Point News – 11th August, 2016) : Fire erupted in the biggest maternity hospital in Baghdad due to short circuit, killing 12 newborn that burned alive. According to Iraqi Ministry of Health, 7 children and 29 women were rescued immediately after the fire at Yarmuk hospital while fire was overcome by the fire brigade staff after 3 hours. The survivors were transferred to other hospitals.
