Azadi Train To Convey Message Of Progress, Prosperity: Irfan Siddiqui

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Augst,2016) : Adviser to the Prime Minister for National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui said on Thursday that Azadi Train would convey the message of progress and prosperity during its journey to all parts of the country. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Azadi Train at Margalla Railway Station, the Adviser to PM appreciated efforts of the Railways Minister for starting Azadi on the Independce Day of the country and it would be a symbol of Pakistan's past, present and future. Irfan Siddiqui said that it was a big step on the part of Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage.
It reflects the sacrifices of our forefathers, heroes for its creation and its defence, he added. This train would also symbolise the determination of the country in its progress and development.
Wherever, it will go it will convey a message, he said. He also proposed that a special award should be given to Railways Minister Saad Rafique for this fruitful effort. Secretary IB&NH Saba Mohsin Raza, Secretary/Chairman Railways Parveen Agha, Mayor Islamabad Sheikh Ansar Aziz, Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Dewan Aashiq Hussain and diplomats from various countries also attended the inaugural ceremony of the Azadi train.
