Terrorists martyr 10 soldiers in Balochistan's Kech district

Inter-Services Public Relations says that one terrorist was killed, several others injured while  three terrorists were apprehended in the follow-up clearance operation.

RAWALPINDI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Jan 28th, 2022) At least ten soldiers were martyred and several others injured in a terrorist attack on a security forces ' check post in Balochistan's Kech district on Friday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the fire raid by terrorists occurred on the night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

During intense exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed and several others injured. Three terrorists were also apprehended in the follow-up clearance operation.

The ISPR reiterated the armed forces’ determination to eliminate terrorists from the country at any cost.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed commitment to rid Pakistan of all forms of terrorism.

Taking to Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan said our brave soldiers continue to lay down their lives to keep us safe from terrorists.

Imran Khan said he salutes the ten martyred soldiers who repulsed a terrorist fire raid on check post in Kech area of Balochistan.

Earlier, in a statement, the Prime Minister expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of ten Pakistan Army soldiers in a terrorist attack on a security check post in Kech area.

He expressed sympathy with the heirs of the martyrs. The Prime Minister said each drop of the Jawans' blood guarantees security of the country. He said the coward enemy is facing a strong nation that defeated terrorism in the past as well.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has condemned terrorist attack on a security forces' check post in Balochistan's Kech district.

In a statement today (Friday), he expressed grief over the martyrdom of ten soldiers. He said attack on security forces deployed for protection of our homeland is worst form of terrorism.

The House offered fateha for the soldiers, who were martyred in a terrorist attack on a security forces' check post in Balochistan's Kech district.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmad led the prayer.
