LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Augst,2016) : The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and barrages on Thursday is as under : According to WAPDA press release issued here, Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 271600 cusecs and Outflows 236400 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 40200 cusecs and Outflows 40200 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 29500 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 92300 cusecs and Outflows 81100 cusecs. Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 311600 cusecs and Outflows 305100 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 325100 cusecs and Outflows 301100 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 270300 cusecs and Outflows 256500 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 71700 cusecs and Outflows 58700 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 222200 cusecs and Outflows 199800 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 179600 cusecs and Outflows 127700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 144300 cusecs and Outflows 138500 cusecs.

Reservoirs ( Level and Storage): Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1531.90 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 5.311 million acre feet (MAF). Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1239.85 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 7.232 MAF. Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.220 MAF. The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours.
