Hong Kong, Shanghai Stocks Down At Open

HONG KONG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Augst,2016) - Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks were down at the open on Thursday, tracking losses on Wall Street and in Europe and as the China market awaited fresh economic data. The Hang Seng Index dropped 0.
27 percent, or 60.33 points, to 22,432.1. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.17 percent, or 5.07 points, to 3,013.68 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.18 percent, or 3.62 points, to 1,972.54.
