Three Food Factories Sealed

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : Anti Adulteration Task Force claimed to have sealed three food factories in different parts of the city for preparing substandard edible items. A spokesman of the Anti Adulteration Task Force said here on Wednesday that MPA Hajji Khalid Saeed Chairman Task Force conducted raid and unearthed a factory where spurious black pepper were being prepared.
The raiding team sealed the premises of the factory besides seizing more than 10 mounds substandard and spurious black pepper besides arresting one accused. Similarly, EDO Health Dr Nawazish Goraya unearthed a food factory at Fateh Town Judge Wala where 'Murabbahs' were being prepared under unhygienic condition.
The factory was being run without valid Pure Food License.
The premises of the factory had been sealed and further action is under progress. In other raid, Chief Food Inspector Abdul Qayyum Awan unearthed a fake Chilli Factory at Azam Town and arrested one accused from the spot. The raiding team also seized more than 10 mound spurious Chilli powder and other items from the site and sealed the premises of the factory. Samples of these factories have also been sent to the laboratory for analysis and further action would be taken on lab report, he added.
