Forest department achieves 50 % tree plantation target

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : The Forest Department has achieved 50 percent tree plantation target by planting 500,000 tree saplings in the division. Conservative Forest department Khizar Hayat said this at a ceremony of planting tree saplings here at Commissioner's office.

He said that during plantation campaign 0.45 million plants would be planted by the forest department, other departments 70,000, Defense 50,000 and 450,000 saplings at private land. Earlier, Commissioner Nadeem Mehboob planted a sapling of tree at his office.
