Dilpazeer, Qandhari certified varieties of coriander

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : Farmers can grow coriander through out the year by using appropriate amount of water and fertilizers. A spokesman for the Agriculture Department said on Wednesday that growers should choose heavy loam soil which has proper water drainage system for its cultivation.

He suggested the farmers that "Dilpazeer" and "Qandhari" were certified varieties of coriander. The first water should be administered immediately after sowing and after that the growers should water the crop on weekly basis.
