Suicide Attacks Can't Deter Our Resolve: BZU VC

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : Vice Chancellor of Bahauddin Zakariya University Dr Tahir Ameen said on Wednesday that suicide attacks couldn't deter our resolve to root out the menace of terrorism. He was addressing a meeting of chairmen, directors, principals, campus directors and senior professors here.
About funds for Institute of Biotechnology, he said the approval of Rs 530 million for Institute of Biotechnology was a big achievement for overall progress of the university. He expressed the hope that the university would progress by leaps and bounds in the field of research and education.
The VC directed the senior faculty of the university to expedite contacts with affluent class of the society to collect donation for endowment funds to help out needy and intelligent students. On the occasion, Professors Dr Saeed Akhtar, Dr Shukat Malik and Dr Seema Mahmood briefed the VC over expansion of Endowment funds, while Dr Ashraf Khan submitted details about conducting ceremonies in the university on August 14.
