Two-day Paintings Exhibition Starts

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : Faisalabad Arts Council (FAC), in collaboration with Sanatzar of Social Welfare Department, has organised a two-day paintings exhibition at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Art Gallery. District Coordination Officer (DCO) Salman Ghani, flanked by Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Madiha Rana, inaugurated the exhibition, being arranged in connection with the Independence Day celebrations.
Resident Director FAC Tariq Javed, District Officer (DO) Social Welfare Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf, In-charge Fine Arts Department Government College University (GCU) Faisalabad Tehmina Afzal and Manager Sanatzar Muhammad Saleem Bulandya were also present on the occasion. More than 70 paintings on the topic of 'Importance of Independence and Patriotism' have been displayed in the exhibition.
These paintings were prepared by the under-training 25 female students of six-month Fine Arts course in Sanatzar.
