Section 144 Imposed In Kohat For 30-day

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic in city, the Deputy Commissioner imposing section 144 Cr.PC issued new traffic plan. The DC declared Peshawar Chowk to Bannu Gate Chowk Route as Traffic Red Zone and prohibited the entry of passenger vehicles except the specific sticker holder vehicles with immediate effect for a period of 30 days. According to details, white sticker holder vehicles would be allowed for pick and drop service of passengers in the Traffic Red Zone while without permit and driving license, entry in Red Zone would be completely banned. Red and Blue sticker holder vehicles of Bannu and Pindi Road would be allowed for pick and drop service of passengers in old Adda (Bus Stand) and pick and drop service of these vehicle would be completely banned in Red Zone.
Similarly, Orange sticker holder vehicles of Hangu Road would be allowed for pick and drop service of passengers in Old Mall Mandi Adda and these vehicles would be banned for any pick and drop services in Red Zone.
Likewise, Green sticker holder vehicles would be strictly banned for entry in Red Zone. However, only emergency and school vehicles would be exempted of the above order. The violators would be punished under Section 188 PPC, said a notification issued here on Wednesday.
