Punjab Govt To Bear Nergis Gul's Education Expenses: Shahbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) : Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday said Government would bear the expenses of Nergis Gul's studies who secured 1,004 marks in Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) annual examination.
According to ptv news, CM Punjab called on the bright student to CM house with her family and awarded her a cash amount of Rs 5,00,000 and a laptop. He also assured her parents that the government of Punjab would take full financial responsibility of her academic career.
He lauded the hardwork of the shinning girl who bagged the distinction despite facing number of difficulties in her hut in a slum area of Chakwal district.
"I greatly respect her hard work, ability and capability," the Chief Minister remarked. Shahbaz Sharif congratulated the glowing student, and her teachers.
He also appreciated her parents and said, "I salute your daughter for her hard work and dedication". The CM said,"Obtaining positions of poor families in difficult circumstances is appreciable and proved that hard work is key of every door". He said whatever profession she wants to adopt, the government would support her, adding, "We welcome her if she wants to carry her studies in Lahore." The government will not let her talent go waste only due to lack of resources, he said.
