Over Rs 1 Bln Budget For District Hangu Presented

HANGU, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : The district government on Monday presented Rs1.270 billion budget for the fiscal year 2016-17, setting aside over Rs 230 million for development funds and Rs 1.270 bln for official expenditure and payment of salaries and allowance. The budget was presented District Nazim Hangu Mutfi Obaidullah here during a meeting held here at District Secretariat and chaired by Convener District Council Sayed Omar Orakzai. A total Rs.
1,648,072,000 budget was presented in the House where Rs 1,271,241,000 were allocated for payment of salaries, Rs 101,833,000 under the head of official expenditure, Rs 239,308,000 for development funds, Rs 10 million for payment of utility bills.
Speaking on the occasion, District Nazim Mufti Obaidullah said that just distribution of funds is being ensured in the budget, adding that the district government paid special attention to education, peace and development sectors during the last fiscal year.
