WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd September, 2021) The US is open to the possibility of an end-of-war declaration between North and South Korea such as that proposed by South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the United Nations General Assembly, Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby said during a press briefing on Wednesday.
"The United States remains committed to achieving lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula through dialogue and diplomacy with North Korea. We continue to seek engagement with (North Korea) to address a variety of issues, and we're open to discussing the possibility of an end-of-war declaration," Kirby said.
