"The United States is providing more than $290 million in additional humanitarian assistance for the people of Yemen," Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in the statement. "In total, the United States has provided more than $4 billion to alleviate the suffering of the people of Yemen since the current crisis began in late 2014."
