MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2021) Moscow's election monitoring center made a decision to recount the votes cast online in the parliamentary elections, Ilya Massukh, the head of the territorial commission in charge of remote voting, said on Wednesday.
"In Moscow, technical failures were registered in the beginning of the voting. After the completion of the voting, results were published with quite a significant delay. The technical group of the Moscow center made a decision to recount the votes," Massukh said at a forum of public observers.
The recount will be completed by Monday. Representatives of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and other interested lawmakers will be involved.
