Kashmir Council EU Boosts Its Signature Campaign On Kashmir: Calling
For EU's Facts Finding Delegation

BRUSSELS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th august,2016) : Kashmir Council EU organized one-day camp at "Place De la Monnaie", the central area of Brussels, the capital of Belgium in order to speed up its one-million signature campaign on Kashmir.
The signature campaign was launched in Europe in the recent years in order to obtain signature in favour of oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir. On the occasion, Chairman Kashmir Council Mr Ali Raza Syed said, the purpose of the camp is to highlight Indian atrocities against the oppressed people of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
The organizers of the camp called upon European Union (EU) to send a fact finding delegation to Srinagar. During the camp, the Europeans showed their keen interest in the event in order to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.
Highlighting the recent incidents in IHK, the Chairman Kashmir Council EU condemned recent killings of Kashmiris during the peaceful protest in occupied territory. He informed the visitors during the camp that Indian forces violate international laws by using pellet guns on the peaceful demonstration which damaged eyes of the innocent people. A number of the injured people avoided to be admitted in hospital because Indian forces used to arrest the injured from the hospitals.
He called upon European Union to transfer the people with severe injuries from IHK to Europe for treatment on the humanitarian basis. Ali Raza Syed said, we have speed up our signature campaign in order to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris specially families of martyrs targeted by Indian forces specially victims of the recent events in IHK. Paying great tribute to the brave people of Kashmir, the Ali Raza Syed called upon European Union to immediately intervene in order to stop Indian brutalities against the oppressed people of Kashmir.
Chairman Kashmir Council EU further said, we will continue our support to the people of Kashmir till suitable resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
He said, people of Kashmir are struggling peacefully for right of self determination and there should be plebiscite under United Nations supervision in order to make clear political fate of the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He informed that beside killing of more than 100 people and injuring hundreds of them, about 300 Kashmiri boys lost their eyes when the Indian security forces fired with pellets guns on the faces of the people during recent peaceful protest in the held Kashmir. Chairman Kashmir Council EU pointed out that Indian authorities are engaged to press the peaceful mass movement by use of force and brutalities specially massacre of the innocent Kashmiris.
Ali Raza Syed also condemned detention of leaders and political workers opposing the unlawful Indian rule, particularly rounding up youth including injured persons and imposing restrictions including curfew, limitation of media, internet and mobile service time to time in the different areas of IHK. Ali Raza Syed further said that freedom struggle will not be stopped by Indian evil designs and its illicit rule.
Kashmiri people will continue their struggle for freedom from Indian occupation. India has forcefully held the state of Jammu and Kashmir but people of Kashmir want their right of self-determination which was promised by international community including UN, India and Pakistan. Highlighting the importance of European Union's role, Mr Ali Raza Syed urged the Union to play its role for a peaceful resolution of the issue.
He explained that EU has to use good offices for prevent human rights violation in IHK and for just solution of the dispute
