IDPs Of NWA Call For Health Facilities At Hospitals

BAKAKHAIL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th august,2016) : Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) called upon the authorities concerned to ensure provision of basic health facilities at two major hospitals of Mir Ali and Miranshah. Talking to APP members of the IDPs families at Bakakhail camp said that both the hospitals were facing shortage of basic health facilities especially due to lack of proper labs and non-availability of medicine. They asked authorities for ensuring their early repatriation as their children were facing education problems. A resident of Mir Ali, Hafizullah Khan Wazir pointed out that his seven children were going to schools but now they are all living in the camp without education.
Hafizullah said that IDPs were facing shortage of water, load-shedding, education and health facilities at Bakakhail camp. An official source of Federal Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) told APP that all the IDPs repatriation process would be completed by the end of this year. He said that now around 20,000 individuals were living in Bakakhail Camp and many others in thousands unregistered IDPs were living in rented houses in different parts of the Bannu, Lakki, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank and other areas of the province.
Some IDPs said that around 25,000 CNIC had been blocked by NADRA and their monthly financial aid from the government Rs.12000 per family has been stopped.
