Plan To Establish 8 New Colleges In Faisalabad Distt

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th August, 2016) : The provincial government has decided to establish eight new colleges in Faisalabad district with an estimated cost of Rs 165 million. 46-GB Tehsil Sammundri, Govt Degree College at Chak No.374-GB Arkana Tehsil Jaranwala and Govt Boys Degree College at Pensara would be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 22.8 million each. Similarly, Govt Degree College for Women will be set up at Chak No.97 Tehsil Jaranwala with Rs 15 million and Govt Girls' Degree College at Ayub Research Jhang Road with Rs 4 million, he added. He further said that Rs 30 million would be spent on the provision of missing facilities at Govt Girls College Gulshan Colony and Rs 20 million for construction of additional classroom and labs at Govt Postgraduate College Samanabad whereas Rs 32 million would be expended for providing missing facilities at Govt College for Women Jaranwala.
