Lawyers' Bodies Condemn Quetta Terrorist Attack Incident

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th August, 2016) : President High Court Bar Association Multan Shiekh Jamsheed Hayat while condemning the attack in Quetta said that terrorists were targeting lawyers as the legal fraternity talked about human rights and democracy. Talking to APP on Monday, he said that lawyers were standing with the government and army in the fight against terrorists.

He stated that terrorists targeted the lawyers only. President District Bar Association Azeemul Haq Pirzada said that lawyers always rendered sacrifices and they would continue the same in future as well.

Terrorists cannot frightened them, he said and added the legal fraternity was united against terrorists. Earlier, Youm Yakjehti-e-Kashmir Conference in BDA was postponed due to terrorist attack in Quetta. Lawyers did not appear in High Court and district courts following the tragic incident. The lawyers also gave a call of strike for Tuesday against the deadly attack.
