Every year there are number of great films that capture our attention. These movies fall into two categories, the I-can-do-this-all-day and the why-did-I-waste-my time. We go around the reviews, cinemas and Facebook posts reading and listening people talk about the movies they loved watching or are the best. However, I would be listing down 2016 movies that lie in the third category, the Why-would-I-do-that-to-myself. You might want to grab your small intestine and wrap it around your neck and wonder what I am doing with my life by watching these.
10. The Darkness
This was one of the worst horror films of the year in year that was filled with a lot of terrible horror flicks but this one won the award for the worst horror movie of all time.
9. Gods of Egypt
This movie was so ridiculous that they should have changed the genre to comedy. You’ll laugh out loud not because it is genuinely funny but on you are watching such an awful execution of anything the directors tried to do literally everything in the movie was falling apart.
8. Shut-In
This movie won the award for the most boring film you can watch. There was literally no reason for the movie to be made. Name Watts wandered around the house for 90 minutes and there is a horribly contrived twist that further ruins the movie. The movie is so cliché that you cannot even pretend to be surprised.

Max Steel
This can easily be the worst superhero film ever made. It’s a struggle to even come up with an explanation that why was this movie made?
6. The other side of the door
This movie got better reviews than it should have. Another really bad horror film that will make you laugh out loud throughout the flick. Awful plot contrivances that make the movie collapse within itself.
Another really self-serious movie that thinks it’s amazing, and it’s not.
5. When the Bough Breaks
This movie perfectly fits into the category of Why-would-I-do-that-to-myself. I cannot even explain how it was bad because there are so many strings to pull that it deserves a separate masochist-review for watching it.

Cell
This is a horribly directed film with horrible plot and horrible ending just with good actors. This Stephen King adaptation gets you all riled up before the release and it’s such a terrible adaptation that I’m out of words to explain how awfully directed Cell was.
3. Norm of the North
This animated movie could have made it to the top two positions but since the other two had more potential to be the worst in the year, this movie stood to number 3.
2. The disappointments room
This movie had the potential to be a good movie but it was chopped up horrifically and awfully edited that the film does not make any sense.
1. Nine Lives
The most hated movie of 2016. You can watch this movie and be amazed that this exists. The movie with Kevin Spacey can only go wrong if the movie exists where a guy can turn into a cat. The plot of the movie baffles me because good actors and good director gets together and the result is this awful.
