FATA University To Start Master Classes In September

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th August, 2016) : Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) University will start master degree programmes in various disciplines from September 2016. An official source told APP here Monday that the master classes would be started in various colleges of FATA areas till the proper establishment and completion of the University building. He said that it would be the first ever university in FATA which provide high-quality education to the citizens of the tribal areas. Quality education and other basic needs of the people needed to be addressed so that the tribal people could play their role in the development of the country, he added.
Source revealed that one model school would be established in every tribal agency as soon as possible while former Governor was launched education emergency in the FATA areas. He said 266 Kanal land had been purchased and Higher Education Commission (HEC) allocated Rs 1.90 billion for the FATA University and PC-1 had been approved. The Source informed that Vice Chancellor of FATA University had been appointed and he was working with the engineer for the establishment of university campus.
